Here we see a big population of sea lions and land Iguanas. There are giant prickly pear cactus dotted around the landscape.

Later that morning there was a choice of snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking or motoring around in a glass-bottom boat. Again, I picked snorkeling, as you see different types of fish and if you are lucky, sea turtles or baby sharks.
In the afternoon we did a dry landing at South Plaza Island. We went for a hike where we saw yellow-gray land iguanas that wait patiently under prickly pear cactus, waiting for the pears to drop. The prickly pear cactus have over generations grown taller so that Iguanas can't climb on those trees to feed themselves.
