This is probably the most interesting island we've been to so far - ESPAÑOLA ISLAND.  We see a lot of wildlife in a relatively short hike and the scenery is more beautiful too.  We went to one side of the island in the morning and another side of the island in the afternoon, where we took a walk on the beach and then went snorkeling in deeper waters.

Getting Back to the Ship

Following lunch and an extended 2-hour rest, we took a walk along a beautiful beach in Gardner Bay.  There is not much here but the white sand contrasted with many of the places we've been to.  There were also carcasses of dead wildlife, a reminder that life goes in a cycle.
